Alicja Dryja

Public policy researcher specialising in climate strategy, digital sovereignty, and the societal impacts of AI in global development.

Alicja is an MPA candidate at UCL in Climate, Innovation and Sustainability Policy. She currently conducts research for UNDP on the intersections between climate strategy and broader societal goals in Kenya. She has contributed to the research in digital sovereignty and is focused on developing solutions for public value. As a research fellow at the New Imagination Lab, she explores the social dimensions of AI, particularly in relation to climate change and energy security.

Alicja is a co-founder of Zryw foundation – an organization dedicated to strengthening public sector capacity and empowering young people to engage in public service. She leads the foundation’s business development efforts and has forged partnerships with organisations like the Apolitical Foundation and Tech to the Rescue.

Previously, Alicja worked as a Territory Manager at Amazon Web Services, focusing on public sector clients across Central and Eastern Europe.
